Rooftop type resident photovoltaic systems have been widely used globally. However, due to factors like loose module joints, poor contact, damp wires, or insulation rupture, DC arc drawing can occur, potentially leading to fire hazards.
Ensuring personal safety and preventing fire risks in photovoltaic facilities is a primary concern. The DC side of a system remains live as long as there is light, creating high-voltage risks for firefighters. Our safety solutions are designed to identify and mitigate these risks automatically.
Based on market demand, we have launched the ERS Rapid Shut-down Switch. While standard string inverters include DC isolators for maintenance, they often leave the DC cables (600V-1500V) from the roof to the inverter energized. In the event of a fire, the ERS switch detects grid failure when AC power is shut down and automatically disconnects the DC isolation within 5 seconds.
| 1 | Applicable to wide voltage/current ranges (600V-1500V, 9A-55A); single switch can manage up to 10 strings. |
| 2 | Wider range of AC voltage support: 100~270Vac. |
| 3 | Internal motor drive for disconnection; can be triggered by AC switch or remote control. |
| 4 | LED indicator for easy identification of ON or OFF status. |
| 5 | IP66 protection level, fully suitable for outdoor installation. |
| 6 | Equipped with a breathing valve to prevent internal condensation. |
| 7 | Low operational noise for minimal environmental impact. |
| 8 | Built-in temperature sensor: Automatic shutdown if temperatures exceed 70°C. |
| 9 | Multiple connection options: Knock outs, Cable glands, or MC4 connectors. |
| 10 | Modular design for fast and convenient service. |
