In such events, the DC side continues to generate high-voltage electricity as long as there is light, creating significant danger for firefighters.
To ensure personal safety and prevent fire risks, our Rapid Shut-down Switch provides a critical safety layer. While integrated DC isolators handle maintenance, they don't de-energize the roof-to-inverter DC cables (600V-1500V). Our firefighter safety switch detects grid failure—such as when AC power is cut—and automatically disconnects the DC isolation within 5 seconds.
