PV combiner box for the on-grid solar system, off-grid solar system, and solar pump system.
In the solar power system, in order to decrease the connecting line, easy maintenance, reduce losses, optimize system structure, and improve the safety and reliability of items, the PV combiner box is usually required between the solar panels and inverter.
Beyond the PV junction function, the combiner box provides reverse current prevention, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, and lightning protection. It monitors the running state, current, voltage, and power after the junction, including arrester state, DC circuit breaker state, Arc detection, and optional leakage detection.
Our PV combiner boxes are equipped with all the functions mentioned above, configuring with on-grid/off-grid solar inverters to create a complete solar power system. When choosing the box, based on the input DC voltage range and output power of the inverter, a specific quantity of panels are connected in series as a string, and multiple strings in parallel connect to the box for junction and protection before feeding the inverter.
