What is the maximum output wire size for this combiner box?

The unit can run a maximum of 58A. We currently recommend using 6 AWG wire for the output. Future updates will support up to 4 AWG wires.

Will this work with a 1600W system if the rating says 1400W for 24V?

For a 1600W system using 100W panels, you should configure 4 panels in series (1 string). This creates a 48V combination where the maximum current per string remains within the 15A fuse limit.

Where can I get replacement fuses?

We provide 4 additional 15A fuses as replacements within the original package.

Can I use this for high-power 400W panels in series?

If you have 12 panels of 400W each and they push 60A during the day, it will not work directly with a single 15A fuse. The fuse is rated for 15A per string.

Is the combiner box suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes, the box features an IP65 waterproof and dustproof ABS shell, making it ideal for outdoor solar PV systems, RVs, and home solar setups.

What protections are integrated into the box?

The box includes short circuit, lightning surge, over-voltage, over-current, and grounding protection to prevent damage to your panels and inverter.
