The XZD1 series DC disconnect switch is suitable for use in circuits with voltages of 1500VDC/25A and 1200VDC/32A or less, serving as an isolation protection device to achieve load breaking and effective isolation. It is mainly used in photovoltaic power station systems to cut off the electric arc generated by direct current, prevent dangerous accidents, and ensure safe operation.
When installing a photovoltaic system, if the input of the battery panel and the inverter is not disconnected first, direct current will be connected to the DC side of the inverter during wiring and plugging and unplugging of DC terminals, which may cause electric shock to personnel and damage to the inverter and downstream equipment. The photovoltaic DC disconnect switch can isolate the direct current between the inverter and the battery panel. Through the physical isolation of AC switches and DC switches, each section of the photovoltaic power station can be provided with safer protection.
