For large-scale PV grid-connected power generation systems, the PV array lightning protection combiner box is designed to reduce connection complexity between PV modules and inverters. This device facilitates maintenance and improves system reliability by adding a DC busbar between the PV module and the inverter. It provides a complete PV power generation system solution when paired with PV inverter products.
Using the PV combiner box, users can organize specific numbers of identical specification PV modules into series based on the DC voltage range of the inverter, then access multiple series through the lightning protection box for centralized output via circuit breakers.
